♔Hello Kitty Cake♔

Hello Kitty Cake

Step1:
Grease Pan with Cooking Spray
Fill the pan with 2-layer cake recipe or cake mix
Bake for 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes (Mine took 40 minutes)
Insert toothpick down the middle and pull out, if it’s clear then cake is done
Step 2:
Let the cake cool in the pan on a cooling rack for 10 minutes
Step 3:
With a serrated knife, cut off the dome and run a spatula along the edges of the cake
Step 4:
Place Parchment paper on top of cake and then place a dish (I used a pizza dish)
on top of parchment paper, then flip and remove pan from cake
Place a bit of frosting onto cake board (this will act as your glue) and place cake onto cake board
Simple Syrup: 1 Cup Granulated Sugar, 1 Cup Water,
Orange Zest (Shredded from outside of Orange)
Step 5:
Torte the Cake by cutting cake in half
To keep the cake moist, pour simple syrup over cake
Put frosting in a piping bag and create a dam
Step 6:
Fill the dam with filling of your choice and smooth over with a tapered spatula.
Step 7:
Place the top half of the cake over the filling and pour simple syrup over the top half
Step 8:
Crumb Coat the cake (optional if you are not going to torte the cake)
Step 9:
Frost the cake using decorator icing
(Wilton’s decorator icing is best for the consistency)
Step 10:
Cut & Serve!

This is my first time making this cake and explaining how to make a cake
so if you are unclear about something, feel free to ask.
