Have Cooking Tools Ready
Even though I have some of my baking and cooking supplies together, everything has a place so it’s easy to find things like all the sauces are together and the furikake (rice seasoning)
I put my other cooking tools and bento supplies in a drawer purchased at Target
1st Drawer: Cooking Utensils
A Ice Cream Scooper is useful for scooping cupcake batter.
A Cookie Scooper is useful for scooping cookie dough & brownie batter to make mini brownie.
The oil brush is useful when making tamagoyaki or takoyaki.
I keep a Sharpie pen and post-its so I can apply the date on storage containers so I know when to throw food out.
2nd Drawer: Bento Accessories
I put the egg molds in a cardboard Snapple box.
The paper divider cups are in a clear box from chicken patties from Costco.
You can utilize everything in your house to get organized.
3rd Drawer: Bento Boxes
I put Bento boxes in here. It’s a good idea to have different size bento boxes: small, big, family size, so you’ll always have the right bento suitable for the occasion.
4th Drawer: Rice Molds & Bags
I put an extra bento box here along with my customized tumbler, it makes it easier to find it when I need it.
I put the sandwich cutters along with the sushi rice paddle and onigiri molds.
